Lisa leverages over 36 years of space industry experience to advise and support the launch and reentry industry. She specializes in commercial licensing, flight safety, mission integration, and operations. Prior to founding Ascendant in 2020, she was Boeing’s Lead Engineer for Starliner Launch Site Integration—including development of launch pad crew accommodations, LV and launch operations integration, range safety compliance, and FAA licensing. She also served as Commercial Spaceflight Licensing and Regulatory Strategy Lead for Boeing Space & Launch. Prior to that, Lisa led Atlas and Delta Mission Integration and Systems Engineering teams for United Launch Alliance, and supported Delta II NASA and Commercial programs as Mission Manager, Range Coordinator, and Payload Integrator. She participated in the development, testing, and early operations of Sea Launch, performing safety, launch operations, and payload integration functions. Lisa is a veteran of the US Air Force, having served 10 years active duty in Space Operations with assignments as Satellite Orbit Analyst, Range Control Officer, Range Operations Commander, and Senior Mission Flight Control (Range Safety) Officer. She holds degrees from The College of New Jersey and the University of Colorado, and is a member of the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics, the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety, and the ASTM International Committee on Commercial Spaceflight Standards.

Alan brings 42 years of Aerospace Engineering experience including more than 35 years in Range Safety roles such as Mission Flight Control Officer, Flight Safety/Risk Analyst, and NASA Range Safety Program Manager. Having supported hundreds of commercial, DoD, and NASA space flights including crewed missions, he has extensive knowledge of safety requirements and regulatory environments. Alan was also instrumental in development of numerous government safety requirements, standards, and policies. Since 2020, he has applied his knowledge assisting commercial clients with FAA licensing and range safety coordination.

Craig is a business development expert with 20 years of experience driving market expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth across multiple industries. He has worked with startups, research institutions, and Fortune 500 companies, using a structured approach to innovation and business model development. He uses results-driven methods to commercialize space technologies, secure funding, and build scalable, sustainable business models. Craig holds a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Global Management in Space Leadership, Business, and Policy from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
